About Nike Air Jordan

Air Jordan, AJ for short, is arguably one of the most iconic basketball shoes out there. The name Jordan was borrowed from basketball iconic Michael Jordan. Debuted in the early 1980s, the first release was made for Michael Jordan during his days at Red Bulls in 1984. The sneaker gain traction and recognition from the basketball audience after a ban on the first “AJ 1″. This led Nike to design and `release the Jordan II in the 86’s for the new basketball season.
